Don,

During the conference call, if I remember correctly, Bill Young mentioned that marketing efforts had been directed to the AIDS Doctors; going forward, some marketing effort will also be directed toward increasing awareness within the AIDS community that there is a more effective test available.

I didn't write down the precise numbers, but I believe that sales progressed in sequential quarters since introduction from $200K to 900K and the most recent Q was $1.9M.

There was an interesting announcement this morning re VLGC buying a little over $1M worth of lab test automation equipment from a Cdn supplier. Hopefully this encouraging bit of news can be taken as prima facie evidence that the sales ramp has outpaced their ability to manually meet the demand for testing. :-)

Ian.

Did some doodling with the numbers in the San Fran newspaper story...

Annual potential revenues are based upon a 240 day year - i.e. 5 day work week less about 20 statutory holidays, preventive maintenance, etc.

It appears that substantial growth will be accommodated without sacrificing speed in delivering results back to doctors.

Interesting.

Ian.
