Ted, I may stay out for a little while. AMD has never garnered any respect with Wall Street. They were never valued over $13B. They could easily fall to below $8B if the tech sell-off continues. That would be a share price of $52 and change.

Why would anyone rush to buy right now? People are being careful with their money. Many of my friends have gone all cash. There is no rush to buy AMD - my guess is until the end of September, pre-earnings. Then there is October. Should attract a lot of daytraders.

Although I think if its going to recover, it will recover before October, clearly things are going from bad to worse. I am not sure what to do....what I wish is that I sold at $90 and then bought in at this level. But frankly I never thought it would drop this low. Will see how things go the rest of the week.
