AFTC American Film Technologies Signs Public Relations Pact With The Blaine
Group

retained The Blaine Group, Inc., of Beverly Hills, CA as its public relations
and investor relations agency.

The Blaine Group is developing and implementing a comprehensive corporate and
financial public relations campaign for American Film Technologies including
media and investor relations, corporate branding, and technical outreach where
the entertainment and media industries are concerned.

commitments which underscores AFTC's determination to continue as the industry

On July 5, it was announced that Jeffrey B. Yapp, President of Hollywood
Entertainment Corporation, and former President Worldwide of 20th Century Fox
Home Entertainment, had been elected to AFT's board of directors and as chairman
of its executive committee.

On July 18, it was announced that Barry B. Sandrew, Ph.D., an original founder
of AFT and inventor of AFT's core technology, "the pioneer of colorization," had
joined the company's board of directors and its executive committee.

On July 20, AFT announced that Michael Southard, a renowned designer and the
creative genius behind "Pleasantville," joined the company as Senior Vice
President and Creative Director.

Subsequently, on July 31, AFT announced that Lem Davis, the Academy Award
winning technical innovator that was instrumental in revolutionizing the digital
production of animated feature films for Disney, Amblin and Warner Bros joined
