Good luck and much success in quitting, Haqihana. I started smoking in the military and had a similar cough in the AM. I went to the Dr. for "bronchitis" and he made a statement that was my catalyst to quit. He said, "Frank, the best thing you can do for your health 10 years from now is to stop smoking now." That made a lot of sense and I was able, with extreme difficulty, to quit and that was in the middle 60's. I am very thankful I stopped. And, I still wouldn't smoke a cigarette even if you offered me 1000.00 to do it. I would bet one cigarette would put me right back in business.
