Actually, Tom was quite complimentary of the Solano (i815) chipset in his most recent article. So I don't think he's totally anti-Intel.
It's a shame that Intel sent Tom a bad 1.13Mhz Coppermine or it could have been damaged in some way on the way...

It doesn't matter. Tom still deserves criticism for his obvious lack of objectivity.
