Sonny ---Some thoughts on interest rates :
It looks like the FED should be looking at lowering interest rates at this meeting . The NAPA came in yesterday at 51 ---just barely expanding . If they allow it to get below 50 then start looking for a recession and then the idiots on TV will have a field day .
The other reason that I think rates are headed lower is the GDP number that came in at 5.8 % . The number is bogus :
1) The first qtr number was revised down 1% and I believed this number will be revised down also ----around to 4.5 % .
2) If the number was true productivity went through for the American worker since consumer spending dropped to 3% ---which should lower interest rates . We will find out the answer on August 8th when the second qtr productivity numbers come out .
3) Oil prices have dropped about five dollars a barrel which should help the inflation figures stay in check .
Any way you look it the next interest rate should be down .
Another comment ---If you think you and me are have down days the funds must be dying ---their is no way they can be up plus all that cash they have will have to be put to work sooner or later ---hopefully sooner . We have discuss the issue several time that technology is the only way American business can increase profits ---so it just a matter of time

BEST WISHES
