IMO (and of course only so) you are absolutely right, the addition of Sulpizio to Qualcomm was a huge gain for the company. Ojala, que si.

And the discipline he brought and the realism was like a breath of fresh air.

OTOTOTO Cisco has a combination of "hard guys" the boss, and the financial staff and the "culture" which is very rare.

The way the 50+ guys with feet on the ground and real world experience manage the "kids" and the "geniuses" is amazing because it seems to work.

This would be my second suggestion for a "model" for Nokia.

And of course the fun is they are the primary horses in the internet/intranet space - Cisco and Nortel.

PS But as you seem to indicate yourself, on the wireless end, Qualcomm is the sine qua non - if you look ahead.
