As for everybody liking ORCL and choosing them for XML apps, you have to remember that the web applications are frequently developed by very young code jockeys Maybe some other vertical markets are different, but in the money management industry (where I operate) the senior management always scrutinise new vendors very carefully. In what industries do you think that young developers would get away with choosing tools from Excelon without the top management doing their own due diligence on the company?
