My point was the reverse. No way am I suggesting a sale of Intel now.

My slight point was that holding usually beats selling on balance if you knew what you were doing when you bought in the first place.

My suggestion is choice up front (within a technology which is strong and rapidly growing) is key.

So the burden of proof is re: selling due to the nonsense in the market short term (meaning less than 3 years - chuckle).

And my simple suggestion is - don't. Unless you need the money or you have a super substitute.
