Mike & roonz,

<<<There's no question that to get the kind of monstrous returns one can enjoy and to be able to emotionally deal with the incredible volatility without mistakenly equating it with a comensurate amount of risk, it does indeed require a lot of work. It's funny how being really good at any discipline requires a lot of work. :)>>

I agree that in the beginning, it was VERY difficult to come up to speed on all the old posts while trying to keep pace with the daily posts, reading the RFM, doing the DD on specific companies discussed, etc etc etc. However, I have found that once I decided on the stocks I felt most comfortable with (4), the work decreased. The daily and periodic fluctuations in the market have been just that. Most of the work required now involves research to validate that the original premise I used in choosing the companies I invested in, are still valid. Happily, they are.

This and several other threads make that work much easier. With the free time I have gained from all of this, I enjoy reading the others' post about Mike's navigational problems.

back to lurking,

sw
