KEM shorts are thinking twice about maintaining their position now that there is a base building for the next run upward for KEM. I believe that there is a good chance that there will not be any rate increase by Greenspan and there will not be a "hard" landing for the economy.

I do believe that the economy will slow, but I cannot see that the demand for capacitors will slow.

I recall that there is a traditional slowdown in the summer, especially in August. As it becomes closer to mid September, there is a thought that the Christmas season will be an important economic event for new product introductions of wireless products, including newer models of cell phones.

So, I believe that the shorts who have had their heyday during the last two months with KEM will have to run for cover.

I wonder why there has been such a dichotomy between the performance of KEM vs. VSH today? Do you have any ideas?

I have heard that VSH is a more leveraged company, however, I wonder if this is significant of anything?
