Eric: I regret that I will not be at the Expo this year. I really enjoyed last year's Expo and remember meeting many members of this thread. I also attended the New York Expo but I enjoyed the Ontario Expo more - it seemed more intimate. I will probably see many of you in New York at the winter Expo and will try to arrange my schedule to get out to Ontario next year. Regards to all .................Alan

This is my first post to SI although I have been following a few threads here for several months. I'm traveling from Texas to Ontario for the expo and will be attending the dinner. I'll be there all 3 days. I have been trading modestly but successfully, am largely self-taught but recently purchased Tony Oz's books. I would appreciate the opportunity to get to meet the posters on this thread for cocktails and the dinner and shoptalk, (or would that be StockTalk)? I attended the expo in Dallas a few months ago but I don't think it's scale compares with the Ontario expo. Best regards, jpbrooks

Updated Expo Attendance list Confirmed attendees incl. dinner: TraderAlan, Eric, davealex (Dave), OZ (Oswald), Palo Alto, Brandon (and Toni), Tony OZ (and wife Jodi), jpbrooks Attendees unable to stay for dinner: aldrums Attendees, dinner uncertain (Please RSVP): supertip (Matthias), Vince Paladino (Canadian friend of Alan) Arriving for the weekend: underdog430 (Mark) Note: We will be meeting on Friday evening, 8/18/00, in the lobby bar of the Marriott hotel (across the street from the Expo) beginning around 4:30 to 5:00 PM. We plan to continue our pleasant discussion over dinner in the same hotel at around 6:30 to 7:00 PM.
