I did not post it to impress you or any one else; only to share another's opinion. Subscribe to his newsletter if you want his facts. You wrote, "I suspect, but you did not state explicitly, that you think the Fed will raise rates in August. I just don't see it". That's cool. Thank God we live in America where we can all have our opinions and share our views. And a thank you to SI for hosting this forum that makes this interchange possible. As for Greenspan, I can only count on one thing for certain in a comment he made a while back, "If you think you understand what I said, then I have mispoken" or something to that effect. I can generally follow the logic of the other Fed governors. I find AG unfathomable. You wrote, "I sense that part of the problem on this thread is that people are trying to support a Bob Brinker view of the world" I don't sense that there is any problem on this thread or the people who post on this thread or any other SI thread for that matter. It is a celebration of our first amendment rights and I wouldn't have it any other way. Regards Dave
