welcome back rick, the b-17 and b-24 came to a town near me. went and toured through both, then took my wife and my dad for a ride in the b-17. my uncle was a tail-gunner in a b-24, but the 17 was the only one going up the evening i went. it was awesome. they went and buzzed a reservoir i used to ski and fish in all the time. we were right above the boats. you could see the shocked looks on the boater's faces. i was surprised they could fly that low. i am glad you and someone else mentioned about the rides, as that gave me the inspiration to do it. i could tell you some good stories my uncle has told of Polesti sp? oilfield raids etc. if you are interested, i will tell you at the next get together as i am only rated "two-fingers" at typing. welcome back, piscato
