Well, he could be useful in cleaning and janitorial tasks. At least he was helpful, in a lot of retail places these days the dominant attitude is SURLY rather than helpful. Credit is probably due Staples for hiring the handicapped (McDonald's seems to do this fairly successfully too, BTW). BUT, it's clear that service industries are clearly scraping the bottom of the employment pool for barnacles when they're forced to hire these days....
