please explain to us, a discontinuous innovation, followed by a proven substitution threat to Intel. AMD doesnt appear to have the same clout in the industry (nor the same mkt share). TI/QCOM line-of-business were never Intel's core competencies in establishing its gorilla-hood.

cheers, kumar

Eric,

The point is that it's best not to get into Gorilla/King semantics when discussing companies like Intel.

In any discussion about that, we'd have to agree to disagree. In this forum dedicated to the practice of Gorilla Gaming, semantics can be everything that leads to a greater understanding Intel and all the other high-tech companies.

I didn't earn my reputation as a nit-picker just sittin' around watching you guys. :)
