JC, there is no info other than the wishful thinking of freebsd'ers that suggest that freebsd in any more robust or secure than properly administered Linux. Ibm is selling Linux installed on several of their products and is not selling freebsd and the same can be said for Sgi and dozens of other companies.

But as the installation of Linux is simpler and there abounds far more documentation and hundreds of more experts for Linux than freebsd, I believe that it is far easier for most to understand and implement a secure Linux system over a secure freebsd system.

To me considering that freebsd is a technically dead ended OS which will forever restrict it's uses, it is bad advice to suggest anyone new consider it.
