I have no idea whether the data on the short position in the S&P by the commercials is correct or not, nor how much influence it may have. BTW, as the NASDAQ got blasted today the S&P was nicely up. As far as the "upcoming sell off" is concerned, I think MRVC has already had theirs. I had said earlier that I thought a 30% selloff was quite enough, given all the terrific news last week. It's now closer to 40% from the recent high but I still hold that opinion. BP
