I love Twelfth Night- which is very funny, and I consider Austen to have a comedic side- look at Emma with Gwyneth Paltrow- That's a comedy with brains, for grownups. Austen had a delicious sense of fun, and she made rather savage fun of her characters- which is why I love her so much.

Groundhog Day is a super comedy- and it's quite intelligent, AND as a bonus I find it very uplifting. It's another of my favorite movies.

I just saw a VERY nice little film tonight called "Swing". I highly recommend it, and the music is...swing. Which I love. It got one of those "As Good as the Full Monty" reviews- which made me put off renting it because I didn't LIKE the Full Monty very much, I thought it was hyped, and stupid. This is nothing like the Full Monty- it just happens to come from the UK so it's got to be like the freaking Full Monty to all those morons who write reviews. Do they even SEE the movies? I wonder sometimes. Well, see it- and I think you'll agree it's a ton better.
