Gary-- Re: I understand Intel booked about 300M for it but I don't know about Dell and IBM. Do you have any information about how many of them(Dell and IBM systems) are shipped with SDRAM on these boards that needed recall ?

Well, Intel was nice enough to not give Dell defective 820 MTH boards. Figuring out the overall cost is as simple as $300M/(cost to Intel of 128MB RDRAM RIMM plus 820 motherboard).
