Oh come on Thomas.

Of course I'm confident in my belief in the characteristics if this cycle. I have confidence but there's absolutely no doubt I could be wrong. There are lots and lots and lots of folks who think the cycle is already over. In fact, the majority of semi and semi-equip. stocks are already reflecting this view. I think the majority is wrong. The majority thinks they are right. So what else is new? None of this alters the fact that it is extremely difficult to predict the timing of the cycle.

The stock I own is Kulicke and Soffa Industries (KLIC). The last time I looked, it had a CURRENT (TTM) PE of 15. Who said 'I wouldn't give it to you'? NONSENSE! I was discussing the FY2001 anticipated earnings.

Boy oh boy, a PE of 15: THAT REALLY makes 'my' stock look expensive.

Now I'm sure you'll consider a TTM PE of 15 the death knell for a rapidly growing CYCLICAL tech stock but that's O.K. - I've had some problems following your logic thus far so this response would not be surprising.
