Landis’ Market Commentary on 5/30/00
<http://www.firsthandfunds.com/news/2000-05-30_market_commentary.html>

What, specifically, are you doing in today's market?

Kevin Landis: The same thing we've always done. We're applying our firsthand industry experience to
identify great technology companies and purchase them at the best prices we can for our shareholders.
When the market puts these companies on sale, we try to take advantage of that. We're not too
concerned about the short-term gyrations in the market. We are investing for the long-term and feel
comfortable as a buyer in this market.

Landis’ description of STXN:
<http://www.firsthandfunds.com/funds/tvf/companyprofiles.html>

Digital Microwave Corp. (DMIC) provides digital microwave radios for use in wireless communications
networks. The company's customers include wireless telephone service providers and network equipment
manufacturers, including BellSouth PCS, Winstar, Nortel, Motorola, and Siemens. The wireless
communications industry is more than just cellular phones. It now includes companies, such as Winstar
and Teligent, which provide wireless access to high-speed data networks. In the future, wireless
technologies will be used to deploy basic communications infrastructure in developing nations such as
China and India. As one of the emerging leaders in providing microwave radios, we believe that Digital
Microwave has tremendous potential for growth.

Other Notes:
As of 31 July 2000, STXN is among Landis' top 10 holdings
in his TechInnovators Fund and his TechValue Fund.
While competitors PCOM and ADAP are also held by these
funds, they are not among the top 10 holdings; as of
6/30, competitor NTRO is not held in these funds at all.
