I've had life threatening accidents and remained calm even though I was afraid- that is mastery. I've been afraid for my children but mastered my fears to take control of situations. I don't understand the universe, but I am the master of mine (and my domain, too). I HAVE irrational emotions- but I control them. For example, if we were at a dinner party, and you said this kind of stuff to me, I would have the irrational urge to slap you and bring you to your senses. But instead I would nod politely and get away from you as fast as I could. JMO>> X: You completely missed the point. Take "I" "you" "me" out of the mastery equation. Can't be done. No way. Been there, done that. So have billions of others in this dark world. I speak publicly on technology - 5 national conferences here in Chicago and NYC over the past 18 months. Next is scheduled for Boston in late October. People pay me to speak, fly and travel. While I'm at it I'm filing a communications patent which incorporates these ideas with one of the leading IP firms here in Chicago. I consult, help, serve start-ups and hundreds of individuals who network with me from all over the world. My leading step into anything is "free" with risk and no expectations for any return. This approach maximizes the potentail trust and energy that can be created between/among people. And, yes, there are folks who label me "out there" and "wacky" etc....to which I say "get used to it....this is the new millenium." Sh_t happens. Peoples perceptions get challenged. And this transformation is one for all time. ME >Only by "letting go", risking and stepping out to help others can we experience the transformative energy which repositions our orientation from clutching positions in the darkness to the open/expansive positions in the light. < YOU >>And this absolutist crap gets really old. There is no "only", in my universe. Any man who thinks he has found the "only" is locked in the straightjacket of his own beliefs and is truly blind. Of course I don't believe that 100%- or I'd be like YOU- it's just my working theory.>> Ok, continue "clutching, withholding, defining, restricting" etc. The curtain will eventually be pulled and the light will expose you as either a Wizard or Lizard. Which does not mean you are "wrong" for you are "right!!!" It's your life, period. You have the power/control and freedom to do whatever you want and I respect that. I asked you a question awhile back, but now I will take the challenge one step further: 1) If I have an organization or person who could use your skills/energy/knowledge....2) would you join me in partnership to allow me to facillitate bringing you and them together so that "we" can show others how risking helping/serving does matter??
