yeah.. I get a kick out of hearing those guys on CNBC mock analysts when they downgrade a stock at the bottom of the charts... CNBC always says something like "the analyst didn't see anything wrong here at its highs, or even here in the middle, but they *do* see something here at this low... I wonder what it is" (dripping in sarcasm of course).

i think it would be a great law to make anyone who makes $$ from any kind of securities advice to always disclose their position and recent trades... this includes analysts and any of these 'pay for' 'stocks ideas' services.
