Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the end of subsidies supposed to result in just a slowdown in sub growth? An outright decline in absolute figures was not forecast. And what about all the predictions of how the Korean carriers would creatively find ways to grow subscribers?
Guess "free" was a lot easier sell than "300 dollars"...especially if that means a week's wages.
Could there perhaps be even further cuts to QCOM's chipset sales?
