re: "Sorry, Amy - when they run their proud CAll purchases up a flag pole and brag about their investments - and how they are "going to the moon", they open themselves up to the scrutiny of others."

not that I object to your comments - not at all actually. I am just wondering about your post to me when you accused me of gloating when intel dropped. Well, I was not gloating but I was just joking about your recent "mad albert" post. Now, if I would be gloating, would not you be the last person to complain because of your own logic - after all, no one boasts more about their investments than you :-))

Live long and prosper

OT Hi Paul,

Re: "i.e. the $320k post....I bought some AMD at $84 a week or so ago, and SpryGuy made a snide remark to me about that, and since YOU DIDN'T seem upset at that remark, are you saying its OK for those JERKS to criticize me?"

If I saw them criticize you for losing $320k, I would have jumped in, but they didn't, so I didn't.

RE: "perhaps they will think twice about poor investment decisions."

I can see your point on this - I recall several people whom you used to criticize for their investment strategy, they changed their investment strategy, and they later posted to you they were $ better for it.

RE: "It's a cruel world out there Amy - there are winners and losers - Keeping Score is one way to identify the losers from the winners."

Interesting. Your style does have a way of ferreting out who the good investors are, which is useful information. By the way, it's not that cruel of a world and people can grow skillsets.

RE: "AMDroids have their own feel good thread - let them console themselves over there - where every AMD investor is a profitable one"

I think the Moderated AMD thread could prove to be a financial mistake if it lives void of diverse opinion.

RE: "If they do not want their investments to be analyzed, criticized, or scrutinized, they should keep their mouths shut."

Or, you could provide a trusting environment for them to share their mistakes.

Regards,
Amy J
