Sonny ---Good morning ---another slam by the anal-lysts trying to buy the individual investors stock cheap . First MOT handset sells will be only 80 to 85 million this year vs what the analysts were forecasting on their own as 100 million that they heard . Txn is the major chip stock I own ---down 35% since I bought it in March --yet only 10- to 15 % of sales come from the wireless division . It is funny that MOT is basically saying the same thing that NOK did ---that sales are still growing at a very good clip ---but that is not what the anal-ysts are putting the word on . My thoughts on the market is that a social club of sorts has form and are picking and destroying stocks with good value so they can buy them at a cheap price . The news and the way it is handle anymore by feeding it to CNBC and the media to put a spin on it leads me to think they would like to see the Nasdaq below 2700 before October so it would become a screaming buy . The issue on the economy slowing effecting earnings seems to me bogus due to the world economy picking up . Part of the reason for slowing the US economy was to keep inflation in check because the rest of the world was picking or maybe I fell a sleep during that segment of CNBC . Boy who do you believe ---you due your DD and research and listen to no avail . The market never had a great deal of logic but now you have to wonder if I read the wrong articles and growth patterns OT --I don"T know about you but I am sure tired of the rain ---would love to see some sunshine . The weather channel said the other day this has been the coolest summer in the last sixthteen years ---4 degrees below normal . Hope the future is better for all of us BEST WISHES BILL
