I have a feeling that Mr. Smart has led a somewhat sheltered life, at least by our standards (which admittedly are different than those of most Americans). I also have a sneaking suspicion that his dogma are not original, that someone in his vicinity is scooping out the smarmy stuff with a soup ladle and he is lapping it up without question. I once asked him to define, in specific and practical terms, what he meant by "service". It was my only post to him that was not answered. I thought that revealing.
