I have never heard McCain speak of the Trilateralists. The paranoia that I speak of has to do with the idea that there is a shadowy, conspiratorial group that runs the world, such that all apparent politics and diplomacy is a sham to distract us from their machinations. I think the article is write in saying that the mainstream of the Christian Right is not committed to dominion, but that the idea pulls things in a certain direction, acting a subtler influence. I don't think it much different than any group wanting to ensure that its own agenda prevails.......
