John, Intel has lots of baskets. RMBS, MU, INTC, etc.... CPU's are only a distraction from the serious business of investing. Too bad the market is tanking..... Scumbria

I could have sworn I saw from the Q2 report that flash was 50% of AMD's revenue (could have been earnings) was from flash. If my memory was off, I am unbelievably sorry. If the market for CPU's fell off, I would expect both AMD and Intel to take big hits. Regards, Frank

albert, based on comparing 1st call's #'s with the Zack's #'s on Yahoo, the best that can be said of Zacks is: Zacks Sucks Zacks low estimate for Y2000: $4.00 1st Call low estimate for Y2000: $4.85 Zacks low estimate for Q3'00 : $1.03 (13 brokers) 1st Call low estimate for Q3'00: $1.17 (13 brokers listed, 16 total) Petz, Actually I think the problem is with Yahoo. Zack's numbers are in total agreement with First Call's which I think supplies the numbers to Zack in the first place. It would appear Yahoo is simply one week behind. BTW did you know the average EPS estimate for 2000 is $5.19 and for 2001, $5.22? ted
