naw just the usual boring stuff, like my father in law, who is a pipe fitter by trader, forgot to tigten the shutoff valves when he put in some shut offs in this house we're fixing up for my sister in law.

Now understand that he did this to save me some time...

Then my retro fit window that I got to replace an ancient double hung...well..the hole was 32 x 60 and the window is 32 x 61.5

I hate that...I chiseled out .75 inches from the sill plate and header...so I got it to work...but....I swear I could get away without caulking it...

Letsee, the tile work went in without a hitch, but...In order to get this house for the sis in law I had to move the tenant out fast...

So...the rear staircase was made when people were midgets I guess and somehow they got a double boxspring up the winding stairs....

I ,, however couldn't, so I had to remove 3 steps....not easy in a 60 year old place...musta been 300 nails...

Now I get to build new ones...These ones are going to be removable...

Also, I noticed that the plugs in the living room didn't look healthy, so I went into the basement...and followed the wire and

Oh joy they tapped the 14 guage wire into the stove wire (using only the black and white wire, they are so clever) only I guess they had zero brain cells because 14 guage wire will handle 15 amps...a stove wire, is 8 guage and has a 40 amp breaker...so this bonehead was running 14 guage on 40 amps...I am amazed that the place didn't ignite...that wire was nice and hot...

So...I cut that wire out..I am not taking any chances with my track record...

And then went around looking at all theother electrical nightmares...

Lights installed without octagonal boxes..merely a hole in the ceiling...

I love these great little extras...

Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings...
