Follow-on to my last post.

Look at the link for that basher I posted, then follow back to the first posts. They go back to 7/17- 7/26 for a stock Sagent technology "SGNT".

7/17 just happened to be Sagent's earnings. Then, on 7/27 the poster moved to MRVC after earnings and is still there.

Now look at a 30 or 60 minute chart of SGNT covering that time period.

I'll be darned if that doesn't track.

Just the market, nothing more nothing less <g>

Sector, a stock moves up 1200% and the shorts show up BECAUSE it's bound to correct. And it's bound to correct more than stocks that haven't run as high.

Similarly, when MRVC took a great whack, "value vulture" investors showed up for the inevitable bounce.

I think it is just our human trait of trying to find patterns that leads to this common feeling that "bashers" are driving a stock down. In reality, I think there are a lot more people who are just simply trying to "buy low, sell high."

As for me using multiple IDs- I have only ever used TWO.

The other one was, I admit with a little guilt, the original "vlad" copycat ID. But unlike posters with multiple IDs, this bogus ID had multiple posters! I bet 10 people were using that ID at one point! So, it was a joke- but it got out of hand.

Web
(tee hee! It was funny for a month, though!)
