If you have strong survivor instincts you want to survive. It is that wish to survive, to maintain the ego that is YOU, that I call the fear of death.

If death is inevitable I would hope most of us could relax and accept it. What's the point of fear at that point? I think one would be stunned enough by the info that it might calm you down. But if someone ever puts a gun to your head (will kill you instantly- no pain), or you get your leg torn off by a shark (it doesn't hurt a bit while it's happening), and you survive- let me know whether or not you experience a little fear of dying.
