Hi Tony,

Thanks for the Article... Just up my Alley!! I printed it and took it outside with me. ;-) It spawned quite the conversation about our own storage needs. You know a little about my shop. A mainframe, bunch of NT servers a few Unix boxes. Then all our client machines, Unix, NT and PC's. We do have some EMC's in the machine room.

Who knows eventually maybe we will spend more than $1.79 and move all our data over to the EMC drives. Or we could just do our cheapo way, and use linux with samba. But then again that sounds good to me. <VBG!>

And just exactly how many zeros does a petabyte have?? Sheesh, I am getting 'old'. Back in the good ole days we thought we were hot stuff with 4 gig with a room full of disk drives. :-)
