George, if you are willing to put your hard earned cash into a strategy, then IMO you need to put in the time to do the research, which includes scanning through this thread. Everything is here that you need to know. Real people, investing real dollars, have taken the time to contribute, and it is well worth spending time reading about their experiences.

Welcome George,

Ditto what David said. We have some fine gals and guys on
this forum with experience collectively and as individual
investors. Willing to share at well. If it has been done,
someone in our forum group knows the answer(s).

To start out your "course of study," let me suggest you
download this PowerPoint freebie of mine. I tried to capture
the essence of the first 3 years of posted messages. The
first few files come off my web site which I started up this
past March. coveredcallswins.com

And, finally! Don't invest a penny until you are sure of
what you are doing and why. The market is not going anywhere
before you learn about this type investment strategy and
the ins and outs of damage control. You will need good books
on your shelf to read as well. Can't sleep? Read McMillian's
books and they will knock you right out!

Here is a reply I gave not too long ago about saving some
money on buying the books online.
