What are the consequences to the retail customer of Terra Nova's clearing moving out of Southwest and to Instinet Clearing Services?

Does anyone have some ideas as to what we can expect?

It should be a seamless transfer, without any real inconvenience. I had an account with AllTech last year when they moved their clearing from Southwest to Pension. The only real difference seemed to be that the confirmations started coming on different letterhead...

I would expect it should be much the same with the Terra Nova switch. Should be quite an improvement, as Southwest has a reputation for being a mediocre clearing firm, at best.

More customers, since some people I know would otherwise have signed up with MB Trading long ago were it not for Southwest.
