Just listened to LOR CC. No new sub #s or MOU #s is disappointing and probably means 13K was a round up number when announced in July, and may now be a round down number. Sounds like new plan is service provider equity financing to get thru '01 which means about $300M. Expectation is G* will have sufficient revenue at end of '01 to stand on its own. We'll see. Also noticed no projection of phone manufacturing by year-end. Maybe reality is setting in. Now at least I understand why sales, marketing, etc. have been so slow: SPs have been on extended vacation thru the summer. Good grief what kind of folks have we hitched our wagon to??? Well I guess we'll continue to drift until 3Q numbers are released in Oct. Unless we get some big commitments by substantial companies or governments there's no reason to expect more than 25k-30k users by then. Nothing to get excited about. Guess its back to Wheaties.
