TEL AVIV, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 3, 2000--Arelnet Ltd.
(TASE:ARNT), a leading provider of VoIP telephony systems, announced
today that Digital Network Services, Inc. (DNS) of Boca Raton, FL., has
placed an initial order for three i-Tone Prime(R) carrier-grade gateways, as
well as gatekeepers and other systems from Arelnet. DNS, a next generation
telecommunications provider servicing Peru, Colombia, Brazil and Panama
that expects to enter other Latin American countries, joins France Telecom and
Keppel Communications in deployment of the i-Tone Prime, Arelnet's third
generation IP Telephony platform.

DNS' main hub will be in Florida and will provide special long distance, Inter-
and Intra-LATA services to niche customers as well as an IP backbone
throughout the US.

DNS President and CEO George Johnson said, "We selected Arelnet because
of the i-Tone Prime's superior scalability. No other gateway can match its cost
effectiveness and price performance. We were also impressed with its
comprehensive routing capabilities, and especially the fact that Arelnet can
route per trunk thus reducing the need for a Class 4 switch." He added,
"Arelnet provided DNS with an effective prepaid calls module and a CPE
system to provide intelligent access to corporate customers' networks."

"DNS' order represents yet another step for Arelnet's strategy of partnering
with innovative telecommunications providers. We are proud that a
sophisticated Next Generation carrier such as DNS, with an advanced and far
reaching strategy, has chosen Arelnet's i-Tone Prime for its communications
backbone," stated Sarig Zur, Arelnet Inc. Executive VP of Sales and
Marketing. "Arelnet's ability to supply superior and cost effective IP Telephony
solutions via integrated end-to-end solutions enables us to provide our partners
with the tools they require to provide better telecommunications worldwide."

i-Tone Prime, first introduced in May 2000, is a hot-swappable,
no-single-point-of-failure, highly scalable carrier-grade gateway packing an
extensive feature set required for the deployment of large and robust VoIP
networks. Up to 24 T1s or E1s can be configured in a single gateway. Over
5,000 calls are handled simultaneously in a rack mounted stackable
configuration. The i-Tone Prime's high density and excellent price-performance
introduces a new dimension of products for converged networks. i-Tone Prime
Gateway was designed from inception for VoIP operations and its innovative
architecture sets new standards for service richness, cost of ownership,
interoperability, scalability and other carrier critical values.
