You're quite right. A 60ish percentage increase by a CFO indicates that he believes he's already got that in his pocket. He's giving guidance that he expects to meet comfortably.

People bring up Citrix? That came after a warnings of missing past and future targets. Does anybody really think that something's drastically changed in the last week?

Hmmm. Good point. Lessee, I'm kind of math-challenged, but I guess it's a ratio analysis. The ratio of 40 to 145 is like what 55 to 65 to what? I've had this before somewhere, maybe in school.

Uh, 40/145 = 3.625 to 1

If I take 60 (half way point between 55 and 65) and multiply that by 3.625, I get 217.5! Wow, more than 200% increase.

Hey, this stock stuff ain't so hard after all.
