Thanks for posting the slides.

Are people going to be focusing on the 29.5% front end growth rate being so much less than the 68.6% rate this year? Even though estimated spending will increase $9 billion in 2001, that's less than the $12 billion projected this year, which adds to investors' fears that profits are slowing down.

In March, I couldn't believe that AMAT's stock price would peak so early in the cycle. Looks like I was wrong. I was thinking that things would bounce back up again toward the end of the year, provided the fed doesn't raise rates again. But now I don't know. Sentiment is so negative right now and, perhaps, will stay that way until the fed starts to lower rates. In your experience, will this doom prevail in the face of risings earnings and revenues?

Do we get a second wind here, or do we just fold our cards and go home for a couple of years?

Perhaps this KLIC announcement will wash out all the remaining sellers and entice potential buyers back in.
