Don't you know that when a biggie like Dell is downgraded it has an "unwarranted" ripple effect throughout the whole tech sector? There is a "broad Brush" treatment swallowing up players like SUNW who would actually benefit by the DELL loss of business. Actually I have felt that DELL was overvalued since the PC model is on the way out as the main way people connect to the Internet. I believe that SUNW will be one of the stocks to hold up as we experience the next 100 point decline in the NASDAQ.

Many managers and TV commentators have recommended that investors stick with the big names and ride this wave out.

I do believe that we will violate the 3500 level in NASDAQ and drop to the 3200 level. Yes, this is much more than 100 points. I believe that this will make Greenspan see that his program is working to wring out "Irrational exhuberance" and the "wealth Effect" that has been caused by the excessive PE's still present in a majority of the tech stocks.

Stock picking will be very important and I believe that there are stocks out there that are Growth at reasonable price stocks GARP which will benefit during the next wave.
