HELKEL...

Most underwriters will try to add 'support' to their deal during the first few DAYS of trading. Don't quote me but I believe this process is known as 'stablizing' and there are rules for what and how the SYNDICATE MM's can behave while they are stabilizing. If anyone can provide a link to the SEC site regarding this subject it would help everybody.

MM's are allowed to risk firm capital and take positions to try to profit. Thus it is possible that MM was buying and trying to 'position' a block. However THIN floats tend to be extremely volatile, as you are aware, and what may appear to be immovable support might just be a large buyer and NO sellers (just as you thought it might be). I wouldn't try to read to far into it because we will NEVER really know anyway.

All the best,

-- Gene
