Jason,

If the best price is on-line, and you prefer to shop at traditional retailers, call or stop into retailers to see if they will match the price. You would be surprised how many retailers will lower their price rather than lose a sale, especially towards the end of a month or quarter.

Jason,

I am sorry to hear of your unfortunate on-line experience.

I have limited my purchases to on-line e-tailers with above average consumer ratings. Buy.com and Onvia.com have bent over backwards for me.

E-tailing is an evolving science. I hope that your user experience improves with time. Maybe we should all try John's tip and see how we do. As for me, I hate to haggle with retail clerks.

Jason,
You should have returned it to where you ordered it anyway with a mailing receipt, then called your credit card company and refused the charge stating that the product was defective and you returned it! That's one advantage of using a credit card. This works real well and takes the decision making out of the hands of PCZONES.
