other loser investments. why the glumness? we should have bailed out at the top but we got greedy and hung in here. but suppose we had put our money into another specualtive investment-- a restaurant or a residential subdivision, either of which didn't work out? then we'd not only have lost money but we wouold have the stigma of failed entreprenears, and at least in the restaurant case we would have had to lay off employees.

i have to say i was surprised by the latest tumble in the price. i had thought we bottomed out-- maybe not going up anytime soon, but at least in a range. i was wrong.

oh well. at least i don't have to pink slip any employees.

Things look so bad now that I think it's time to begin accumulating 9984 again. Expect further weakness in Nikkei, Yen and Nasdaq between now and November 1 but Japanese sentiment, especially as relates to NCB and 9984, is SO atrocious that if it simply goes to neutral the stock could snap back to a more realistic level. I think anything below 80 will in time be considered a steal.

Picked up my new chump credentials today at $75.
