All this is reminescent of "Into Thin Air", that book about those foolish people who tried to climb Everest. Me, I'm just as happy sipping an island drink on a bar stool in Key West or on a beach in Marco Island. First time I was ever in an airplane I parachuted out. That was enough danger for my lifetime. It became a cute story though. I was able to tell others that I had been up in a plane but I never came down in one. This was back around 1970 when air travel wasn't as prevalent as it is today.
