I like you and have a little compassion for you because you are a tragic minority voice of the age. But the bottom line in regard to you is that much of The Information age just passed you by: You never really took advantage of it. Gold cannot compete against high tech when growth is strong. It is like putting the US military up against Iraq's military. PS BTW, The commercials have every right and are free to short Gold futures whenever they like and at whatever price. That is part of a free market. PSS If we get a hard landing, which is likely, gold should do very well. I just look at economic fundamentals and don't play the politics of blame game. Blame should almost always be placed on oneself. Your not very responsible, self reliant or independent IMHO. You whine or cry all the time much worse than the Classic Sissy Liberals you dislike so much. I think you need to grow up, stop whining and complaining, and assume some responsibility for your decisions. It's not that your moral accusations don't have some validity; their just largely irrelevant in the sense of having a major lasting impact on the financial community. I think you need to become more eclectic and more diversified in your outlook on things. Fanaticism is not good in regard to any position. Before you respond with the typical moral outrage and accusations, detach yourself from your views for a little while and look at other point of views. Sleep on it. I'll still be around in a week or two. As for whether "the ends justify the means," that must be looked at and analyzed on a case by case basis. Nothing is written here in stone IMO that applies universally to every single situation. As you know, I'm all for a higher POG.
