Voice & Wireless Corporation, Formally Known As Kensington International Holding Corp. Announces Marketing Agreement with Vector Internet Services, Inc. (VISI.com)
MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ --
Voice & Wireless Corporation (OTC: Bulletin Board: KNSC) announced today that it will begin offering its MailCall service to VISI.com's new subscriber base. VISI.com, which was recently acquired by DSL.net, Inc. (Nasdaq: DSLN - news), will allow MailCall to insert sales and marketing materials directly into Visi's ``New Client Welcome Packets,'' and future billing statements, and to have exposure on the VISI.com web site.
The agreement was facilitated by RTG Solutions, a reseller for MailCall. ``We have had a long-standing relationship as a preferred vendor for cabling and networking for Visi's clients as well as being a valued reseller of Visi's services to our client base,'' stated Michael Rettke, Vice President for RTG. ``This agreement was a very big step for all parties. Visi's name recognition in the Twin Cities ISP market should be a big boost for MailCall. We feel very fortunate to be able to market this solution to the VISI.com client base.''
VISI.com, the largest provider of dedicated bandwidth internet subscribers in the Twin Cities has agreed to terms that would allow Mail Call, Inc., a majority owned subsidiary of Voice & Wireless Corporation, formerly Kensington International Holding Corp. or KNSC, to market MailCall's advanced email retrieval services to its clients and potential customers. VISI.com has over 7,000 business Internet subscribers in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and over 3,000 non-business subscribers in the same area. They also have subscribers outside of the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
Under services provided by RTG, Jerry Ramlet, Vice President of Sales for Voice & Wireless Corporation, commented, ``The exposure that VISI.com will provide us is ideal for MailCall's sales in that roughly 70% of VISI.com's business is B2B. Not to mention the potential for more national exposure of MailCall due to the recent acquirement of VISI.com by DSL.net Inc., a tier one ISP.''
