I find your theory about Tom rather absurd. How about Kyle Bennett at HardOCP? What did he do to destabilize his part?

I get paid to make sure my product is in spec (Worst case voltage 1.2V, Worst case temperature 120C, Worst case process corner, 95% yield.)

If I saw garbage like this PIII 1GHz+ stuff going on, there would be blood in the streets.
