If we get higher lows and lower highs, can one take that as base being built for the next move,in which ever direction. Now given the fact that a lot of bad news such as Hi oil prices and slow down in wireless/chips/software has already been priced in which leaves very little more to come .Interest rate hikes also seem to be towards the end of its cycle and the slowing of the economy is apparent as more and more companies have guided lower for the rest of the year.

There also seems to be a contraction of PE's in many sectors with earnings catching up to PE's.

Given the above factors does this not bode well for an eventual large move to the upside.
