H.R. 5020, which is the Administration's bill to regulate internet gaming by modernizing the Wire Act of 1961, has just been submitted to the Judiciary Comm. by Rep. Conyers of Detroit.

If your representative voted for H.R. 3125 and if he is having a town meeting during the recess, go to the meeting and remind everyone what the Republican religious right is trying to do--take away each individual states right to decide on internet gambling itself and impose a federal level ban.

If you word the statement like this, then the rep will have to weasel out of it.

I plan to do this at least once this week with the rep. who represents suburban New Orleans.
